Dr. Pramodh Nathaniel
Managing Director
BSc (Hons); MBBS (Hons); PCert AME; Dip Av Med; MPH & TM; FACTM; FFTM.

Pramodh is an Australian-trained doctor who has had over a decade of senior level experience in International Health, Aviation Medicine, Tropical Medicine and Travel Medicine including being Regional Deputy Medical Director for the Australasian division of International SOS – the world’s largest medical assistance company. He has also been involved in start-up international health ventures (which have won Australian Business Awards) and has set up networks throughout the medical decision-making community in several SE Asian and South Asian countries. He has participated in International Government Trade delegations and sat on peak representative health bodies. Pramodh has set up numerous innovative international health and aviation programs and brings a wealth of high-level experience operating in different socio-cultural settings.

Pramodh has completed post-graduate qualifications in Aviation Medicine, Public Health, Travel Medicine and Tropical Medicine and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Tropical Medicine and a Fellow of the Faculty of Travel Medicine.

Corporate Advisory Team

Mr. Simon Clatworthy
B Comm; MBA; CA

Simon is Managing Director of Corvara Capital and Advisory Perspective, boutique corporate advisory firms which were established in 2005 and 2006 respectively. Prior to founding Corvara Capital, Simon held senior management and advisory positions including Investment Executive of Cullen Investments in Australia and New Zealand, which involved assisting in the management of merger and acquisition activities as well as providing directorship and corporate recovery services. Simon has also held roles with Bancorp Merchant Bank, Sibson & Co, Gates Opticians, Telecom New Zealand and NZI Bank.

Corvara Capital and Advisory Perspective combine corporate advisory, corporate recovery and business consulting services, providing a comprehensive service offering to clients.

Mr. Troy Filipcevic

Troy is a Senior Strategy Design Advisor with one of Australia’s largest banks with a background in corporate strategy, innovation, program and project management.

Prior to his current role, Troy worked for a “Big 4” professional services firm as a strategy consultant. In that time he also managed the firms innovation program, which created ideas, developed business cases and commercialised ideas.

Troy has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management and International Business and is a candidate for an MBA with the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM).

Aviation Advisory Team

Dr. James Torrens

James was born in Windhoek, Namibia where he first gained his passion for flying from his father who had his private pilot’s license. At the age of 11 he moved to South Africa seeking a better education and graduated from Stellenbosch Medical University with a MBChB in 1989. After graduation, he joined the Special Forces and extensively travelled the world in varying capacities, primarily concentrating on Aero-medical retrieval and isolated remote medical service provision.

James has undertaken extensive postgraduate study including: Diving Medicine with the Institute of Maritime Medicine, CRITICARE E.M.S. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Airport Disaster Management, Underground Mine Rescue, Paediatric Advanced Life Support Provider, Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support, Medical IT course, CALRAD/Essential Radiography Course and Designated Radiation Protection Advisor, Intoximeter Course, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Emergency Management of Severe Trauma, Advanced Airway Management Course, Emergency Paediatrics, Advanced Life Support trainer course and Training- Helicopter Underwater Escape Training.

Furthering his interests in Aviation medicine, James delivered a paper at the ISAS and FNA Aero-medical Conference in 2006 on Aero-Medical Transport of the Mentally Ill. His passion has always been in aviation, completing his Commercial Pilot’s License in South Africa and later flying in the United States of America. In his spare time, James works as a Charter Pilot across Australia whilst undertaking his Australian ATPL, with the hope of flying for Angel Flight in the near future. James is currently working as a Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department in Rockhampton Base Hospital, Queensland, Australia.

Nursing Advisory Team

Ms Leanne Boase
NPC(Emerg), BN, MNurs.(NP), MHSc.(Ed)


Graduating with a Bachelors of Nursing in 1995, Leanne specialised in Emergency Nursing attaining progressively more senior roles in a variety of public hospitals in metropolitan and rural areas of Australia. She completed her Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) in 2005 following which she undertook a Master of Health Science Education in 2007.

Leanne is currently completing her candidacy as a Nurse Practitioner (Emergency) and combines her clinical work and educational activities with representative roles as an Executive Member of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners as well as being an External Course Reviewer for the Nurses Board of Victoria.
